The Energy Saver Loan Scheme is coming

The Tasmanian Government has announced that Brighte is the preferred provider to administer the Energy Saver Loan Scheme.

The Scheme will provide interest-free loans of up to $10,000 for eligible applicants to purchase approved energy efficient products, with no up-front or ongoing fees.

Eligibility

Eligible applicants will be Tasmanians (for their principal place of residence), small business customers, community organisations, and landlords of residential rental properties.

Energy efficient products will need to be purchased, and installed, through a network of accredited vendors.

Timing

Brighte already has a network of accredited vendors across Tasmania and is now working with the energy efficiency sector to extend that network to support the Scheme.

The Scheme will be formally launched in October. Information about the Scheme is available on our Energy Saver Loan Scheme page and will be expanded closer to the launch date.
