Draft Climate Change Action Plan 2023-25

Tasmania’s Climate Change Action Plan 2023-25 will outline the government’s plans for action on climate change for the next two years and support Tasmania's transition to a low emissions economy to 2030. The plan will help us to reach our target to maintain net zero greenhouse gas emissions, or lower, from 2030.

Consultation on the draft action plan closed on 6 April 2023. Thank you to everyone who made a submission or attended an online workshop.

Initial consultation on Tasmania’s next climate change action plan was conducted between February and April 2021, with over 200 people participating in consultation workshops and 41 people or organisations making written submissions.
