Rebates for embedded network residential customers
Bill relief for customers on embedded networks
What is an embedded network?
If you live in a caravan park, retirement village or in other circumstances where your landlord bills you separately for your electricity use from a metered connection, you live on an embedded electricity network.
What help is available?
For 2025, there are two programs that are running to provide embedded network customers with payments to assist with electricity prices.
The two programs are:
- Renewable Energy Dividend – this is a once-off payment of $60 from the Tasmanian Government. This is open to any residential connection on an embedded network, there are no concession requirements.
- Energy Bill Relief Fund Extension – this is a once-off payment of $150 from the Australian Government, administered by the Tasmanian Government. This is open to any residential connection on an embedded network, there are no concession requirements.
Program | Value | Relevant concession holders* | No relevant concession | Application process |
