Deliver-e Small Business Grant Program

Deliver-e provides grants for Tasmanian small businesses to help them purchase battery electric delivery vans and cargo e‑bikes.

As of 20 February 2025, all funding for Deliver-e has been allocated. Applications are now closed.

Program funding

  • Individual grants of $20,000 for battery electric delivery vans.
  • Individual grants of $2,500 for cargo e‑bikes.
  • Each eligible small business can apply for multiple grants, up to a total of $25,000. Applicants can apply for one battery electric van and/or multiple cargo e-bikes up to that maximum.
  • The total funding available for the program is $300,000.
  • Funding will be allocated on a first come, first served basis, until the funding is fully allocated.

Program benefits

A grant will reduce the initial capital investment for your business to purchase a battery electric delivery van or cargo e‑bike. Your business can also benefit from the reduced running and maintenance costs of electric vehicles.

Electric vehicles can help reduce Tasmania’s greenhouse gas emissions from transport, reduce noise and pollution from delivery vehicles, and promote health and wellbeing by increasing the use of cargo e‑bikes.

This program is an initiative of the Transport Emissions Reduction and Resilience Plan 2024-29
